At Kids Haven Childcare, our team is made up of passionate, caring, and qualified early childhood professionals dedicated to supporting every child’s growth, learning, and development. Each educator brings unique skills, knowledge, and experience to create a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging environment for children

All staff have attended professional development workshops including Brain Story,Supporting Curriculum Framework, Theory to Practice, Principles of Possibilities and are trained by Kids Included, Alberta (formerly GRIT).

Aman Khera

Owner / Director

Aman Khera is the Owner and Director of Kids Haven Childcare, bringing over 9 years of experience in the childcare sector, including 7 years running multiple childcare centres. She is a Level 3 Early Childhood Educator and holds a Master of Science (M.Sc. in Chemistry) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). She is certified High School teacher from Ontario College of Teachers. Aman is committed to creating safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environments where children, families, and educators feel supported and valued. She and her team regularly attend professional development workshops including Brain Story, Supporting Curriculum Framework, Theory to Practice, Principles of Possibilities and are trained by Kids Included, Alberta (formerly GRIT).

Jane

Assistant Director

Jane is the Assistant Director and Toddler Educator at Kids Haven Childcare. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and has been working in early learning since 2014, starting her career as a preschool teacher in Singapore and continuing in Edmonton since 2020. Jane is Level 3 Early Childhood Educator and trained in Inclusive Child Care (ICC) and believes every child is a mighty learner. She values outdoor learning and sees herself as a co-learner alongside children, families, and educators. Jane has attended professional development workshops including Brain Story, Supporting Curriculum Framework, Theory to Practice, Principles of Possibilities and is trained by Kids Included, Alberta (formerly GRIT).

Deepika Gemini

Early Childhood Educator (Preschool)

Deepika Gemini is an experienced Early Childhood Educator in our preschool program, with nearly 20 years of teaching experience across international and national education systems. She holds a Level 2 Early Childhood Education certification, a Bachelor’s degree in education, and a Master’s degree in English. Deepika is trained in Inclusive Child Care (ICC) and brings expertise in preschool education, language development, learner-centered teaching, and creating inclusive, engaging classroom environments where children feel confident and supported. She has attended professional development workshops including Brain Story, Supporting Curriculum Framework, Theory to Practice, Principles of Possibilities and is trained by Kids Included, Alberta (formerly GRIT)

Sanhapreet Kaur

Early Childhood Educator- Level 3

Sanhapreet Kaur is a dedicated Early Childhood Educator in our Toddler Room. She has completed a Child and Youth Care Diploma from Northquest College.

Sanhapreet is passionate about supporting toddlers’ growth and development by creating a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore. She believes children learn best through play, positive relationships, and meaningful experiences that support their curiosity, confidence, and independence. Her caring approach and commitment to early learning help children build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Raghad Aldahhan

Early Childhood Educator (Toddler Room)

Raghad Aldahhan is a caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant in our toddler room. She holds a Level 1 Early Childhood Education certification and a Bachelor’s degree in commerce. Trained in Inclusive Child Care (ICC), Raghad supports toddlers with patience and dedication, creating a nurturing and safe environment where children can explore and develop through play. She has attended professional development workshops including Brain Story, Supporting Curriculum Framework, Theory to Practice, Principles of Possibilities and is trained by Kids Included, Alberta (formerly GRIT).

Faten Gibraeel

Early Learning Educator (Infant Room)

Faten Gibraeel is a dedicated Early Learning Educator in our infant room, bringing over 15 years of experience working with babies. She holds a High School education and is a Certified Level 1 Early Learning and Childcare Educator. Faten creates a safe, nurturing, and comforting environment where infants feel secure and supported in their early developmental stages. She has attended professional development workshops including Brain Story, Supporting Curriculum Framework, Theory to Practice, Principles of Possibilities and is trained by Kids Included, Alberta (formerly GRIT) in inclusive early childhood practices.

Parjeet Kaur

Early Childhood Educator (Infant & Preschool)

Parjeet Kaur is a Level 1 Early Childhood Educator working with both our infant and preschool programs. She holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Botany and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and brings six years of teaching experience to her role. Parjeet is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel valued, confident, and encouraged to explore and learn through play.
